What a find! We present this charming 1969 example fresh to the market for the first time in over 20 years, only being sold due to driving retirement. Known to ourselves as well as the MG B owners club, for many years having always being a cherished & enjoyed car
This B GT has been garaged since new according to her current keeper who purchased the car in the 2000's from a local family in the village. As a result, the underside is refreshingly solid & smart looking ... we would recommend only a simple waxoyl protection for future preservation. The floors, sills & jacking points all appear in an excellent solid order. The coachwork would benefit from some very minor improvement without the usual full chassis up restoration works!! She was the subject of a large restoration many years ago & has now earned a lovely honest patina throughout. Over the past few years, very few miles have been covered & has been stored away in a dry garage. We have chosen to leave the dust coating in place so the next owner can fully enjoy the detailing up to their own level / preference
Finished in a personal favourite MG colour, Tartan Red with Black leather seats & Tudor Webasto sunshine roof. The roof is in a lovely order with a good tight fitment when closed & operating as it should.
A 130 mile round trip up to us from the Sussex countryside without flaw, maintaining perfect temperature & 60psi oil pressure. The running gear has clearly seen lots of maintenance work being carried out - as confirmed by the comprehensive history file. The engine was treated to desirable 'Allard' performance upgrades, a refurbished radiator, stainless steel exhaust system to list a few
