1973 Vindec High-Riser 'Chopper' Bicycle
Presenting this 1973 Vindec High-Riser Three Speed Chopper / Muscle Bicycle
- Fresh From Private Collection Of Chopper Bicycles -
- Rarer Alternative To The Mk1 Chopper -
Costing in excess of £32 back in 1973, the Vindec High-Riser was a fierce competitor to the coveted Raleigh Chopper, priced at £38. The High-Riser featured an identical three speed Sturmey Archer hub gearing system with a throttle twist grip shifter (gear stick option available), Ape Hanger chrome handlebars & polo style saddle with sissy bar.
This example was owned for many years by a private bicycle collector located in Brighton before the gentleman sadly lost his storage & was forced to disband the collection. An unusual period option of an American 'Troxel' muscle bike saddle has been fitted. Originally supplied by 'Willmotts Discount Cycles' in Norwich, with their dealership decal remaining present.
Today, the High-Riser presents very well & rides fantastically with all gears & breaks working as they should.
Priced at £495 with free UK shipping included. Ready to ride, enjoy or simply hang up in your man cave!
Many other vintage & retro bicycles in stock, similar items always wanted!
